Topic: Boss Encounter – Design on a final Boss

Boss enemies are one of the most important and spectacular part of video games. In my presentation, I will give an introduction of how to design and produce boss fi ghts in a triple AAA development, exemplified on Deck13 Interactive’s latest role-playing game Lords of the Fallen. I will also give an overview of the boss design and feature detailed steps of how to optimise the highly iterative process while enhancing the player experience.
